Artist's Statement:
I can vividly remember my feelings of total joy as I did this design. I felt a total sense of contentment in my soul. It reminded me of my grandmother and her response to people who inquired as to how she was doing - she always responded with a joyful, “happy in the Lord!” I hope as you look at this design you will see joy and pleasure exploding in the pastel colors out of a complex center wrapped in green, indicating a life of love, joy, and peace.
