Artist's Statement:
I was preparing my message for a Sunday morning (I fill in for the Pastor when he is out of town) and it dealt with witness. I was reading in Jeremiah, the 20th chapter when this drawing came to me. Jeremiah was upset with the Lord and called out to Him in prayer. I have depicted the Lord as a mighty warrior, strong, and able to do battle on all sides concurrently; the Lord who Jeremiah committed to totally. Biblical Reference: Jeremiah 20: 11,12. But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail...O Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous and probe the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance upon them, for to you I have committed my cause.
